Özet
Johann Wolfgang von Goethes Ballade Der Zauberlehrling (1797), in der dietitelgebende Figur an die Stelle des abwesenden Hexenmeisters tritt und so eineÜberschwemmung verursacht, handelt offenkundig vom Thema Grenzüberschreitung.Indes fällt auf, dass sich die Flutkatastrophe in der domestizierten Umgebung derMeister-Werkstatt ereignet und der Meister bei seiner Rückkunft die alte Ordnungsogleich wiederherstellt. Unter diesem Aspekt lässt sich der Text – umgekehrt – auchals eine Art Bewusstmachung dessen lesen, was Grenzen eigentlich bedeuten undwarum es wichtig ist, sie einzuhalten. Tatsächlich sind im Zauberlehrling Chaos undOrdnung wechselseitig bedingt. Man könnte auch sagen, dass die Grenzüberschreitungdes Protagonisten innerhalb der durch bestimmte Diskurse abgesteckten Grenzenerfolgt. Ziel der vorliegenden Untersuchung ist es, die diskursive Ordnung des Textessichtbar zu machen. Welche Diskurse treten auf? Wie wirken sie zusammen? Wassind ihre Funktionen? Und welche Dynamiken entfalten sie? Auf solche Fragen wirdim Nachfolgenden näher einzugehen sein.
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1797), in which a wizard’s apprentice supplants the master during his absence and thus causes a flood, is mainly about limit-exceeding. It’s noticeable that the flood occurs in the enclosed space of the wizard’s workshop, and the master is able to restore the former order right upon his return. The text can also be read as a cautionary tale of what limits essentially mean and why it is that important to adhere to them. Chaos and order are conditioned reciprocally in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. In some way, the protagonist’s exceeding of his limits happens within the frame of certain discourses. The aim of this study is to make the discursive structure of the text visible. Which discourses emerge? How do they work together? What are their functions? What dynamics do they develop? Questions like these are to be examined in this study.;Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’nin Sihirbazın Çırağı (1797) baladı, başlığa adını veren ana karakterin ortada olmayan sihirbaz ustasının yerine geçerek bir sele yol açması üzerinden sınır aşımı temasını konu edinmektedir. Bununla beraber, sel felaketinin sihirbazın hakimiyet kurduğu atölyesinde meydana gelmesi ve ustanın dönüşü ile birlikte ivedilikle eski düzeni geri getirmesi dikkat çekicidir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında metin, sınırların gerçekte ne anlama geldiği ve bunlara bağlı kalmanın neden önemli olduğunun bir tür farkındalığı olarak da okunabilir. Esasında, Sihirbazın Çırağı baladında, kaos ve düzen karşılıklı olarak birbirinin sonucu niteliğindedir. Nitekim ana kahramanın sınırları aşması, belirli söylemler çerçevesinde gerçekleştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, metnin söylemsel yapısını açıklığa kavuşturmaktır. “Hangi söylemler ortaya çıkıyor? Birlikte nasıl çalışırlar? İşlevleri nelerdir? Hangi dinamikleri geliştirirler?” gibi sorular çalışmada ele alınacaktır.
