Özet
Çalışmada, azotlu gübre uygulamalarının çokyıllık çim (Lolium perenne L.)’de tohum verimi ve bazı bitkisel özelliklere etkileri tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma, Tarım ve Köyişleri Bakanlığı Tekirdağ Bağcılık Araştırma Enstitüsü arazisinde 2001-2003 yılları arasında yürütülmüştür. Çokyıllık çim 0, 12, 24 ve 36 kg N/da ile gübrelenmiştir. Azotlu gübre sonbaharda bir, ilkbaharda iki defa olacak şekilde 3 parça halinde uygulanmıştır. Her azot uygulamasından sonra ve başaklanma döneminde bir defa sulama yapılmıştır. Azotlu gübre uygulamaları bitki boyu, fertil kardeş sayısı, biyolojik verim ve tohum verimini olumlu yönde, hasat indeksini ise olumsuz yönde etkilemiştir. Azotun başak uzunluğu ve bin tane ağırlığına etkisi ise önemsiz olmuştur. Bu araştırmada, çokyıllık çimin tohum üretiminde 12 kg N/da azotlu gübrelemenin uygun olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The objectives of this study were to determine the effect of nitrogen fertilization on seed yield and some plant characteristics of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.). The study was conducted at experimental field of Viticulture and Research Institute of Agricultural Ministry located in Tekirdağ -TURKEY during 2001-2003. In the experiment, nitrogen was applied in four different doses such as 0, 12, 24 and 36 kg da –1 . Nitrogen application splited into 3 equal parts. One third of the nitrogen applied in fall while the rest two parts applied in the spring season. Irrigation was made in heading stage and after each nitrogen application. Nitrogen application effected plant height, fertil tiller number, biological yield and seed yield of perennial ryegrass positively while it effected harvest index negatively. Nitrogen application had no significant effect on spike lenght and thousand seed weight. Based on the results of this study, optimum nitrogen dose for seed production was obtained from plots applied 12 kg da-1 nitrogen in total.
