Abstract
“??? /Ba-sa-ra” fiili ve bu fiilden türeyen kelimeler Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de önemli bir yer teşkîl etmektedir. Bu sebeple âyetlerin doğru bir şekilde anlaşılması için bu fiilin ve türevlerinin dikkatlice analiz edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu fiil ve türevleri göz, görme hissi, bilmek, tefekkür etmek, ibret almak, basiretle görmek, kalp gözü gibi anlamlarda kullanılmaktadır. “??? /ba-sa-ra” fiilinin ve türevlerinin en temel anlamı, bir şeyin zuhûr etmesi ve ortaya çıkmasıdır. Diğer anlamlarını bu anlamıyla ilişkili olarak kazanmaktadır. Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de “??? /ba-sa-ra” fiili ve türevleri hem göz hem de akıl ve kalp ile görmeyi, sezmeyi, zihnî bir kavramayı ifâde etmektedir. Ancak meâllerde bu fiil ve türevleri genellikle “görmek” anlamıyla ilişkilendirilerek çevrilmektedir. Bilmek ve anlamak anlamlarına ise çoğu zaman vurgu yapılmamaktadır. Bu sebeple biz bu makalemizde bu fiilin ve türevlerinin meâllerdeki çeviri problemi üzerinde durmaya çalışacağız.
The verb “??? /Ba-sa-ra” and its derivatives constitute an significant place in the Qur'an. For this reason, this verb and its derivatives are need to be analyzed carefully in order to understand the verses correctly. This verb and its derivatives are used referring to the meanings such as eye, sense of sight, knowing, contemplating, taking a lesson, to see with foresight and eye of the heart. The basic/core meaning of the verb “??? /ba-sa-ra” and its derivative “Basirah” is the appearance and occurrence of something. It gains other meanings in relation with that basic meaning. In the Holy Qur’an, the verb “??? /ba-sa-ra” verb means not only to see with eyes, but also to see with mind and heart, perceiving and mental comprehension. But in the translations, these verbs and their derivatives usually are translated by being associated with the meaning of “to see with eye”. For this reason, in this article we will try to focus on the translation problem of this verb and its derivatives.
