dc.description.abstractEğitimde en önemli konulardan biri de verilen eğitimde öğrenenlerin tutumlarının incelenmesidir. Bu çalışmada fen-edebiyatfakültesi coğrafya bölümü öğrencilerinin beşeri coğrafya dersi hakkındaki tutumları çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmiştir.Betimsel tarama modeli kullanılan bu araştırmanın verileri, Türkiye’de iki farklı üniversitedeki coğrafya bölümlerinde okuyan 137öğrenciden elde edilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin elde edilmesinde Kılcan vd. (2019) tarafından hazırlanan 23 madde ve iki altboyuttan oluşan beşli Likert yapısındaki “Beşeri Coğrafya Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” (BCDYTÖ) ölçme aracı olarak kullanılmıştır.Elde edilen verilerin karşılaştırılmasında, iki alt düzeyi olan değişkenler için t-testi, ikiden fazla alt düzeyi olan değişkenler için tekyönlü ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Güvenirliği test etmek için ise Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı ? = .94 olarak hesaplanmıştır.Araştırma sonunda elde edilen verilere göre coğrafya bölümü öğrencilerinin beşeri coğrafya dersi hakkındaki tutumları büyük orandaolumlu bulunmuştur. Coğrafya bölümü öğrencilerinin beşeri coğrafya dersi hakkındaki tutumları cinsiyet ve üniversitedeğişkenlerinde farklılık gösterir iken, sınıf, yaş ve mezun olunan lise değişkenlerinde bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Bu sonuçlardoğrultusunda, beşeri coğrafya alanındaki ders içeriklerinin zenginleştirilmesi, tutum araştırmalarının dönem başında ve dönemsonunda tekrarlanarak düşük tutuma karşılık tedbirlerin alınması ve öğretim programlarında yer alan beşeri coğrafya konularınıngeliştirilmesi ve güncellenmesi önerilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractOne of the most important issues in education is to examine the attitudes of the people who receive education. In this study, the attitudes of the geography department students towards the human geography course were examined in terms of various variables. The data of this research, where we used descriptive scanning model, was obtained from 137 students studying in geography departments in two different universities in Turkey. In the acquisition of the research data, the “Scale of Attitude Towards Human Geography” (SATHG) in a five-point Likert structure, prepared by Kılcan et al. (2019), consisting of 23 items and two sub-dimensions, was used as a measurement tool. In comparison of the data obtained, t-test was used for variables with two sublevels, and one-way ANOVA test was used for variables with more than two sublevels. To test the reliability, the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was calculated as ? = .94. According to the data obtained at the end of the research, the attitudes of the geography department students about the human geography course were found to be mostly positive. While the attitudes of geography department students about the human geography course differ in terms of gender and university, there was no difference in the variables of class, age and graduated high school. In line with these results, it was suggested to enrich the course content in the field of human geography, take measures against low attitude by repeating the attitude researches at the beginning and end of the term, develop and update the human geography topics in the curriculum.
