The objective of this study is to determine reduced tillage techniques and no tillage method after harvesting pea+wheat mixture in sunflower farming as a second crop. In this research, the tillage methods are heavy-duty disc harrow (GOB), rotary tiller (ROT), combination of cultivator with spring teeth and rotary harrow (GOB+KOM) and No Tillage (NT). Reduced tillage methods applied and no tillage effect on properties of plant vegetative and generative, power and fuel consumption are investigated. According to research results, mean emergence dates (MED) in no tillage (NT) was determined as 6,55 days, which was significantly lower than other treatments while it was found as 7,87 days for heavy-duty disc harrow (GOB), the lowest percentage of emerged seedlings (PE) was found for GOB with 88,63% while the highest percentage of emerged seedlings was found for NT with 96,29%, the highest average sunflower yield was found for ROT with 2.650,7 kg/ha, while the lowest average yield was found for GOB with 2.390,9 kg/ha. The effects of the tillage treatments on plant height, stem diameter and head diameter found to be statistically significant. Operations data in no tillage were the best compared to other tillage methods. Although no tillage has less yield of sunflower as a ROT method, rotary tiller (ROT) and No tillage (NT) methods can be used in second crop sunflower on harvesting pea+wheat area. Because no tillage has the lowest production cost compared to other tillage methods.
