Özet
Öz: Sahâbe cahiliye dönemindeki şiirlerinde kötü yönleri ıslah etmişlerdir. Bu yüzden de tamamıyla şiire karşı değillerdir. Şiirleri, içerisindeki kelime- lerin anlamlarına göre değerlendirmişlerdir. İçerisinde kötü sözlerin bulunduğu şiirleri okumamışlar ve okunmasına engel olmuşlardır. Müslüman olmadan evvel şiir ile meşgul olan sahâbe bu özelliklerini İslâm yolunda cihat ederken veya farklı hayır yollarında kullanmışlardır. Hz. Peygamberin huzurunda ona biat ederken, savaşta, yardım talebinde bulunurken veya hüzünlendiklerinde ağızlarından günah bir söz çıkmadan şiir okumuşlardır.
Abstract: Companions changed the bad aspects in the poetry of ignorance era. Therefore, they are not totally opposed to the poetry. Poems were evaluated in accordance with the meaning of the words in them. They didn t read the poems in which bad words were found and didn t let them to be read. Companions who had engaged with poetry before being Mus- lims, used that for jihad or for different charities in Islam. During the alle- giance to the Prophet in front of him, during the war, during the request for assistance and in sadness, did they read poems without saying any words which mean sin .
