dc.description.abstractİstanbul, Osmanlı devletinin idari ve merkezi olması bulundurduğu nüfus miktarı ve tüketim merkezi olması sebebiyle büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Halkın ihtiyacının ucuz ve bol şekilde temin edilmesi idarenin öncelikli görevlerindendi. Temel ihtiyaç maddelerinden biri olan kömüründe halkın ihtiyaçları içinde özellikle kış aylarında büyük önemi bulunmaktadır. İstanbul'un kömür ihtiyacının temini, idarenin tutumu arz ve talep piyasasını önemli oranda etkilemiştir. Yaşanılan savaşlar kömür arz miktarını daha da şiddetlendirmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı 1855-1872 yılları arasında İstanbul'un temel ihtiyaç maddelerinden olan kömürle ilgili yaşanan sorunlar incelenmiştir. İstanbul' un kömür temini, kömür tedariki ve karşılanan bölgeler, kömür tedarikinde yaşanan sorunlar çerçevesinde Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi kaynakları esas alınarak incelenmiştir
dc.description.abstractIstanbul, due to the amount of population and consumption have to be the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire and the center has a great importance.The primary task of the administration were from providing cheap and abundant way for the needs of the public.Coal is one of the basic needs of the people in need especially during the winter. Istanbul’s coal supply needs, the attitude of the management of supply and demand market has been significantly affected. It is further aggravated by the wars of the amount of coal supply. In this study, the problems related to coal one of the basic necessities of Istanbul, has been investigated for the period of 1855-1872. Istanbul’s coal procuration, coal supply and regional problems are investigated from the resources of Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives
