Abstract
Gelişmekteki ülkelerin en büyük sorunların başında işsizlik sorunu yer alır. İşsizlik kişilerin yaşına, cinsiyetine ve eğitim düzeyine bağlı olabildiği gibi sektörel, bölgesel ve ülke seviyesindeki problemlerden de kaynaklanabilir. İşsizlik bir toplumda ekonomik ve sosyal açıdan birçok olumsuz olayları beraberinde getirir. Tüm bu olumsuzlukları aza indirmek için her ülkenin uygulamış olduğu istihdam politikaları vardır. İstihdam politikaları aktif ve pasif istihdam politikaları olmak üzere iki ana başlık altında incelenebilir. Türkiye?de aktif istihdam politikaları Türkiye İş Kurumu (İŞKUR) aracılığı ile uygulamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye?deki aktif istihdam politikalarının işsizlikle mücadele uygulamaları üzerinde durulacaktır.
Unemployment is one of the biggest problems in developing countries. Unemployment can arise due to person?s age, gender and education level as well as sectoral, regional, and country level problems. Unemployment cause many economic and social problems in the society. That is why employment policies are implemented by governments in order to minimize problems caused by unemployment. Employment policies can be classified in two main parts as active and passive employment policies. Active employment policies are implemented by Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) in Turkey. This study focuses on the applications and programs of active employment policies in Turkey to fight against unemployment.
