Özet
Bu çalışmada Japon bıldırcınlarında on günlük dönemler halinde 1-110 günlük yaşa kadar alınan canlı ağırlıklardan yararlanarak büyüme eğrisi farklı modeller kullanılarak belirlenilmesine çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada 70 dişi 50 erkek olmak üzere toplam 120 adet bıldırcın kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan modeller ise kuadratik, kübik, Gompertz ve Logistik olmak üzere dört farklı model kullanılmıştır. Her bir model için parametre tahminleri yapılarak modeller arasında karşılaştırma yapmak için belirleme katsayıları (R2 ) ve Hata Kareler Toplamları kullanılmıştır. Kullanılan modeller içinde dişi ve erkek hayvanlarda sırasıyla kuadratik model için belirleme katsayıları 0.9445 ve 0.9376 olmuştur. Kübik model belirleme katsayıları ise sırasıyla 0.9852 ve 0.9848 olmuştur. Gompertz model için belirleme katsayıları ise sırasıyla 0.9852 ve 0.9843 olmuştur. Gompertz model için Yi ve Ti değerleri dişi ve erkek hayvanlar için sırasıyla 71.03, 33.10 ve 67.57, 33.10 olarak bulunmuştur. Logistik model için belirleme katsayıları ise dişi ve erkek hayvanlar için sırasıyla 0.9959 ve 0.9954 olmuştur. Gompertz model için Yi ve Ti değerleri dişi ve erkek hayvanlar için sırasıyla 92.18, 40.03 ve 87.50, 40.52 olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak kullanılan modellerin belirleme katsayıları benzer ve yüksek olmakla beraber en yüksek belirleme katsayısı logistik modelde bulunmuştur.
This research was aimed to determine growth curve of Japanese quail. Body weights of all animals were collected from 1 day to 110 day. The study was designed 70 female and 50 male and 120 quail in totally. Quadratic, cubic, Gompertz and logistic models were used to determine of growth curve. The model parameters were calculated for each model and the comparisons among the models were done based on the coefficient of determination (R2 ) and sum square of error (SSE). The coefficients of determination for quadratic model were calculated as 0.9445 ve 0.9376 for female and male animal. Similarly the coefficients of determination for cubic model were calculated as 0.9852 ve 0.9848 for female and male animal. The coefficients of determination for Gompertz model were calculated as 0.9852 ve 0.9843 for female and male animal. The Yi and Ti values were calculated 71.03, 33.10 and 67.57, 33.10 for female and male animal respectively. The coefficients of determination for logistic model were calculated as 0.9959 and 0.9954 for female and male animal. The Yi and Ti values were calculated 92.18, 40.03 and 87.50, 40.52 for female and male animal respectively. As a result, all models have similarly and high R2 value but the highest R2 was obtained from logistic model.
