Özet
Tarihi çevre kendine has farklı özellikleriyle birlikte bir yerleşimin kültürel kimliğini bir araya getirir. Sanayi devrimi ve sonrasında birçok ülkede yaşanan teknolojik gelişmeler, hızlı kentleşme ve nüfus artışı tarihi çevrelere zarar vermektedir. Bunun yanı sıra hatalı planlama kararları alınmasından dolayı her geçen gün tarihi değerlerimizi, yerine yenilerini koyamayarak kaybediyoruz. Tarihi çevrelerin korunmasında amaç sadece anıt değil aynı zamanda anıtın çevresinin de korunmasıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; tarihi kent merkezlerinde, çevrelerinde doğal ve kültürel yapı bütünlüğü korunarak sürekliliğin sağlanması amacıyla ve geçmiş arasında köprü rolünü kazanan kentsel peyzaj tasarımının önemini Edirne Maarif Caddesi örneğinde vurgulamaktır. Bu kapsamda üçüncü derece kentsel sit alanı içerisinde yer alan alanın mevcut durumunu ortaya koymak ve koruma-kullanma dengesi içinde yaşatmak amacıyla alınması gerekli önlemler belirlenmiştir. Bu şekilde caddenin çevresiyle birlikte bütünsel kullanımının sağlanması hem de tarihi ve kültürel turizm açısından değerlendirilmesi hedeflenmektedir
Historical environment that gathers cultural identity of a settlement with it?s specific different features.After the industirial revolution and technological advances experienced in many countres, rapid urbanization and population gowth that damage on the historical environment.In the other hand, due to faulty planning we?re losing our historical values every passing day that we?re not replace with the new ones.The aim of protection not only historical monument but also environment of monuments.In this way, the opening of the factory environment with the use of the people of both counties will evaluate in terms of both the historical and cultural tourism.The aim of this study; historical city centers, in order to ensure continuity in maintaining the structural integrity of natural and cultural environments and past winner of the role of a bridge between the urban landscape design is to emphasize the importance of the case of Edirne Maarif Street. In this context, the urban conservation area is located within the third degree to determine the current status of the field and the measures to be taken in order to survive in the balance of protection and utilization were determined. In this way, the overall utilization of the street environment and will evaluate in terms of historical and cultural tourism.
