Abstract
Bu araştırma kimyon uçucu yağının, yonca silajının fermantasyon kalitesi, aerobik stabilitesi, in vitro metabolik enerji içerikleri ve nispi yem değeri üzerine etkilerini belirlemek amacı ile düzenlenmiştir. Yonca, ekim ayında çiçeklenme başlangıcında hasad edilmiş ve yaklaşık 3 saat süreyle soldurulmuştur. Kimyon uçucu yağı silajlara 300 mg/kg ve 500 mg/kg düzeyinde katılmıştır. Yonca, plastik torbalarda silolanmıştır. Paketler laboratuvar koşullarında 8±2 °C’de depolanmışlardır. Silolamadan sonraki 120. günde her bir gruptan 3 paket açılarak silajlarda fiziksel, kimyasal ve mikrobiyolojik analizler yapılmıştır. Silolama döneminin sonunda açılan silajlara 7 gün süre ile aerobik stabilite testi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca, enzimde çözünen organik madde miktarı, metabolik enerji içerikleri ve nispi yem değeri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, kimyon uçucu yağı yonca silajlarının fermantasyon özelliklerini artırmıştır. Ayrıca nispi yem değerini olumlu yönde etkilemiştir.
This study was carried out to determine the effects of cumin essential oil on the silage fermantation and aerobic stability of alfalfa silages. Alfalfa was harvested at early bloom stage in October and wilted for about 3 hours. Cumin essential oil was applied 300 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg levels. Alfalfa was ensiled in plastic bags. The packages were stored at 8±2 °C under laboratory conditions. Three packages from each group were sampled physical, chemical and microbiological analysis 120th day after ensiling. At the end of the ensiling period all silages were subjected to an aerobic stability test for 7 days. In addition, enzimatic solubility of organic matter, metabolizable energy and relative feed value of these silages was determined. As a result of cumin essential oil increased characteristics of fermantation of alfalfa silages. The relative feed value is affected positively.
