Özet
This research was conducted in order to determine the effect of late sowing planting on vitality ratio of broccoli plants under different growing conditions. In this research, there were two (Jade F1 and Tutku F1) cultivars, two growing conditions (open field and unheated glass glasshouse) and four planting dates (October 20, October 27, November 3 and November 10). In order to determine the cold resistance, two different cultivars were planted after traditional broccoli growing season under open field and greenhouse conditions. Vitality ratio, electrical conductivity and membrane permeability criteria were measured in order to determine the morphological changes in these broccoli cultivars. Among the cultivars used in this research, Tutku cv. (65.90%) was hardier than the Jade cv (58.80%) and it could be suggested that Tutku cv. can be grown in greenhouse (99.51%) conditions economically. However, it was found that late growing of Tutku cv. in the field (25.18%) was not suitable.
