| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Kliniğimizde kronik rinosinüzal hastalık tanısı konmuş 100 hastaya, uygulanan fonksiyonel endoskopik sinüs cerrahisi sonuçlarımızı literatür sonuçları ile kıyaslamak. Gereç ve yöntem: Kronik rekürren sünizit (n=36 ), alerjik-non alerjik nazal polipozis (n=24), orta konka pnömatizasyonu (n=32), maksiller retansiyon kisti (n=8) tanıları alan 56’sı erkek (%56), 44’ü kadın (%44) 100 hasta, çalışmaya dâhil edildi. Hastaların % 65’ine çift taraflı %35’ine tek taraflı fonksiyonel endoskopik sinüs cerrahisi uygulandı. Yaş ortalaması 39 ve postoperatif takip 3 -21 ay ortalama (ortalama 12 ay) idi. Hastaların yaşı, preoperatif subjektif şikâyetleri, hastanın alerjik- nonalerjik grupta bulunması, anestezi şekli, preoperatif bilgisayarlı tomografi bulguları, uygulanan endoskopik cerrahi şekli, operasyonun komplikasyonları, postoperatif subjektif şikâyetleri ve postoperatif endoskopik bulgular parametre olarak kullanıldı. Bulgular: Başarı oranları kontrol endoskopik muayene ve şikâyetlere göre değerlendirildi. Yüz hastanın 68’inde (%68) tam iyileşme, 24’ünde kısmi iyileşme, 8’inde ise sonuçların başarısız olduğu görüldü. Sonuç: Fonksiyonel endoskopik sinüs cerrahisi, kronik ya da tekrarlayan sinüzitlerin tedavisinde doğru tanı sağlanması, klasik cerrahiye göre cerrahi esnasında görüntü üstünlüğü, yüksek başarı oranı, daha az travmatik olması, postoperatif takibin daha güvenilir yapılabilmesi sebebiyle tercih edilmesi gereken cerrahi yöntemdir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: To compare our functional endoscopic sinus surgery results with the literature that were performed to 100 patients who diagnosed as chronic rhinosinusal disease in our clinic. Methods: 100 patients who were diagnosed as chronic recurrent sinusitis (n=36), allergic-non allergic nasal poliposis (n=24), middle turbinate pneumatisation (n=32) and maxillary retantion cyst (n=8) were enrolled into this study. 56 of these patients were male (%56) and 44 of them were female (%44). Bilateral functional endoscopic sinus surgery was performed to 65 % of the patients and unilateral FESS was performed to 35 %. Mean age was 39 years and postoperative follow up period was 3-21 months (mean; 12 months). Age, preoperative subjective symptoms, allergic or non allergic condition, anesthesia type, preoperative computed tomography findings, functional endoscopic sinus surgery technique, operation complications, postoperative symptoms and postoperative endoscopic examination signs were used as parameters. Results: Success rates were assesed by the control endoscopic examination findings and patients’ symptoms. Full recovery was observed in 68 patients where as partial improvements of symptoms was seen in 24 patients. Treatment failure was observed in 8 patients. Conclusion: Functional endoscopic sinus surgery is a surgery technique must be used in the treatment of the chronic or recurrent sinusitis, since confirming diagnosis truly, vision superiority during the surgery, high successful rates, having more reliable follow up period and less traumatic when compared with the classic technique. | |
