Pelvic organ prolapse can be defined as the collapse of structures in the pelvic region downwards towards the vaginal region after the disruption of their anatomical support. It is a very common condition, affecting up to 50% of postmenopausal cases, especially in older ages. It significantly negatively affects the quality of life by causing a feeling of pressure in the pelvic area, urinary and bowel dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction. The management of pelvic organ prolapse should begin with an accurate and detailed evaluation. Different surgical and non-surgical procedures stand out in management, starting from conservative treatments. In the management of pelvic organ prolapse cases, an individualized treatment plan must be planned, and an individual road map must be determined for each patient. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
