dc.description.abstractCOVID-19 is defined as a global crisis because it affects the flow of the daily life. Nurses who play an active role in the patient care and follow-up processes of COVID-19 aim to achieve the best results in patient care during the crisis period. Theories contribute to the development of the nursing profession and they guide nurses regarding providing the right care. According to Fitzpatrick's rhythm theory, in case of crisis, the integrity of the individual is under threat. The crises experienced by the individual specify the rhythmic exits in the development process of the individual, and affect his/her temporal, motional, cognitional, and perceptual behaviors. In this qualitatively planned study, the experiences of a charge nurse of a COVID-19 pandemic department were evaluated according to the Fitzpatrick’s rhythm theory. Her work-home life measures against to the pandemic and her opinions about being a nurse during pandemic processes were presented. In the study, it was determined that the responsibility of the charge nurse was increased, and he experienced contamination and transmission anxiety.
dc.description.abstractCOVID-19 günlük hayatın akışını etkilediği için küresel bir kriz olarak tanımlanmaktadır. COVID- 19 hasta bakımı ve izleminde etkin görev alan hemşireler kriz sürecinde hasta bakımında en iyi sonuca ulaşmayı hedeflemektedir. Kuramlar mesleğinin gelişmesine katkıda bulunmakta hemşirelere doğru olanı uygulama konusunda rehber olmaktadır. Fitzpatrick’in ritim kurama göre; kriz anında bireyin bütünlüğü tehdit altında kalmaktadır. Bireyin deneyimlediği krizler bireyin gelişim sürecindeki ritmik çıkışları belirtmekte, zamansal, hareketsel, bilişsel ve algısal davranışlarını etkilemektedir. Nitel olarak planlanan çalışmada; COVID-19’da bir pandemi sorumlu hemşiresinin deneyimleri Fitzpatrick ritim kuramına göre değerlendirildi. Pandemi sürecinde iş-ev yaşantısında aldığı önlemler ve pandemi sürecinde hemşire olmakla ilgili görüşleri sunuldu. Çalışmada; pandemi servis sorumlu hemşiresinin sorumluluğunun arttığı, bulaş alma ve bulaştırma endişesi yaşadığı belirlendi.
