Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) is one of the most important virus disease of many different crops grown in vegetable growing regions in the world. The host range of TSWV is one of the widest known for plant viruses. TSWV causes sporadic prob¬lems in agronomic plants, this disease is also damaging in tomato production. In this study, it is aimed to determine the morphological and physiological and prevalence of Tomato spotted wilt virus in tomato production areas of Western Thrace region in 2021.125 specimens thought to be infected with TSWV were collected from the area. These collected samples were tested by DAS-ELISA method. As a result of the serological test, the disease was detected in 47 of 125 suspected plants and the prevalence rate was calculated as 37.6%.
