Özet
İnsanlar var olduklarından bu yana farklı iletişim yolları aramışlardır. Ama en verimli iletişimini sağlayacak olan görsel anlatım biçiminden faydalanmışlardır. İlk zamanlardan günümüze kadar gelen mağara resimleri ise bunun kanıtı niteliğindedir. Bu resimlerde ise en çok göze çarpan dertlerini anlatabilmek için çizdikleri şeyleri olağanca sadeleştirmeleridir. Dünyada soyut sanatın doğuşu bu mağara resimlerinden ortaya çıkmaktadır. Türkler İslamiyet öncesi dönemlerinde de kendileri için kutsal saydıkları gök, doğa, ay, yıldız, güneş, Türk mitleri gibi unsurlardan faydalanarak savaş aletlerinin, yemek kaplarının, çadırların, kıyafetlerinin bezemesinde de soyut bir yaklaşımda bulunarak, kültürlerini sergilemişlerdir. Ülkemizde modern sanat anlayışı Batılı tekniklerin alınıp ülkeye getirilmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Zamanla çeşitli akımlarda eserler veren sanatçılar çok geçmeden kendilerini, kültürel yapılarını ortaya koyacak eserler üretmeye başlamışlardır. Eserlerinde köklerine inmeye ve geleneksel motiflerin yanı sıra geleneksel sanatların birçok dalını resim sanatıyla sentezlemişlerdir. Bunların arasında en çok etkinlik gösteren geleneksel sanat ise İslam yazı sanatıdır. Bu sanatçıların özüne dönerek kendini bulma yolculuğunda gelenek ve öz önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Yapılan bu çalışmada Türk resim tarihinden başlanılarak modern resme geçiş ve daha sonrasında Türk soyutunu oluşturma gayretlerinden bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra sanatçı Erol Akyavaş'ın sanatında eserleri üzerinde İslam yazısının soyut sanat anlayışına nasıl destek verdiğine dair kapsamlı bir araştırma yapılmıştır.
People have sought different ways of communication since their existence. But they have benefited from the form of visual expression, which will provide the most efficient communication. Cave paintings from the earliest times to the present are proof of this. In these paintings, the most striking feature is the ordinary simplification of the drawings in order to express their troubles. The birth of abstract art in the world emerges from these cave paintings. In the pre Islamic period, Turks also displayed their culture by taking an abstract approach in the decoration of war tools, food containers, tents and clothes by making use of elements such as the sky, nature, moon, star, sun, Turkish myths that they considered sacred for themselves. In our country, the understanding of modern art was created by taking Western techniques and bringing them to the country. Over time, artists who produced works in various movements soon began to produce works that would reveal their cultural structures. In their works, they tried to go back to their roots and synthesized many branches of traditional arts with the art of painting, as well as traditional motifs. Among them, the most active traditional art is the art of Islamic writing. Tradition and essence have an important place in the journey of these artists to find themselves by returning to their essence. In this study, starting from the history of Turkish painting, the transition to modern painting and then the efforts to create the Turkish abstract are mentioned. Afterwards, a comprehensive research was conducted on the works of artist Erol Akyavaş on how Islamic script supports the understanding of abstract art.
