| dc.description.abstract | Bireylerin gelir seviyelerinin artması, ücretli izin hakkının sosyal bir duruma dönüşmesi, yoğun iş temposu ve hayat stresinin artması insanların tatil ihtiyacını ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Tatil yapabilmek için her yıl milyonlarca insan seyahat etmektedir. Şüphesiz ki tüm yıl bekledikleri tatillerinin de güzel geçmesi en büyük istekleridir. Tatillerin sorunsuz geçmesi için turizm sektöründe faaliyet gösteren tüm işletmeler özel bir çaba göstermektedir. Ancak tüm bu çabaya rağmen önlenemeyen, daha önceden tahmin edilemeyen kriz durumları ile karşılaşılabilmektedir. Ekonomik bakımdan büyük bir öneme sahip olan turizm işletmeleri uluslararası bir yapıya sahiptir. Kriz anlarında özellikle otel işletmeleri konuklarını koruyabilmek ve krizden etkilenmemelerini sağlamak için üst düzey önlemler almaktadır. Bu çalışmada uluslararası beş yıldızlı zincir bir otelin kriz yönetim planı analiz edilmektedir. Özellikle otel işletmelerinin hazırlıklı olması gereken durumlar ve alması gereken önlemler hakkında bilgi verilerek, otel işletmelerine olası kriz durumları için ışık tutulmaya çalışılmaktadır. Krizler, yaşandığı ülkeyi ve ülke vatandaşlarını her yönüyle etkilediği gibi iyi yönetilmediği takdirde işletmeler için de büyük bir tehdit oluşturabilmektedir. Özellikle küresel bir yapıya sahip otel işletmelerinde krizlerin en iyi ve etkin bir şekilde yönetilebilmesi hususu büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, turizm sektöründe faaliyet gösteren konaklama işletmelerinin ve özellikle otel işletmelerinin olası kriz durumları için hazırladıkları kriz yönetim planlarının içeriğini incelemektir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Increasing individual income levels, turning paid vacation into a social status, intense work experience and increasing life stress reveals the people's need for vacation. Each year millions of people travel to have their vacations. Undoubtedly the greatest demands of them to have pleasure. All companies which are operating in the tourism sector are making a special effort to ensure that their guests have pleasure. Despite all these efforts, hotels can be encountered unpredictable crisis situations. Tourism establishments which have a big preliminary in economic terms have an international structure. Especially in times of crisis, hotel operators are taking high-level measures to protect their guests and ensure that they are not affected by the crisis. This study analyzes the crisis management plan of a five star international chain hotel. In particular, it is necessary to inform the hotel operators about the conditions that should be prepared and the measures to be taken, hotel enterprises are trying to shed light for possible crisis situations. Crises can pose a great threat to businesses if they are not well managed as well as affect every country and country of the country in which they live. Especially in hotel enterprises which have a global structure, managing the crises in the best and efficient way has a great importance. The purpose of this research is to examine the content of the crisis management plans prepared by the hospitality establishments which operate in the tourism sector and especially the possible crisis situations of the hotel enterprises. | |
