dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, matematik ve fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin öğrenciyi merkeze alan, etkili öğretme veöğrenme temelli yaklaşımlara yönelik dersliklerde gerçekleştirdikleri öğretim uygulamaları hakkındakigörüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu, araştırmacılar tarafından Tekirdağ’da düzenlenenhizmet içi eğitim kursuna katılan 82 ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim fen bilimleri ile matematik öğretmenioluşturmuştur. Çalışmada tarama modeli kullanılmış olup, veriler ilk kez uygulanan ve araştırmacılar tarafındangeliştirilen Likert beşli tip ölçek kullanılarak derlenmiş; betimsel ve yordama temelli istatistik teknikleri ileanaliz edilmiş ve bazı bulgular elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğretmenlerin; “Öğrenciler birprobleme birlikte çözüm getirmek amacı ile küçük gruplar halinde çalışırlar” sınıf içi uygulamasına yaklaşıkolarak derslerin dörtte biri kadar zaman ayırdıkları, “Konunun anlaşılıp anlaşılmadığını sorular sorarak kontrolederim” ve “Dersin başında bir önceki dersi kısaca özetlerim” türündeki etkinlikleri neredeyse her dersgerçekleştirdikleri anlaşılmaktadır. Ayrıca, bu incelemede öğretmenlerin kişisel özellikleri ile sınıf içi öğretimuygulamaları hakkındaki görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe goal of the present study is to determine the student centred the learning/teaching activities performed by a group of mathematics and science teacher in the classrooms and their views and trends. The sample of the study is 82 primary and secondary science and mathematics teachers who participated in the professional development programme in the format of in-service course organized by the researchers in the provice, Tekirdag. In the study, the survey model was applied, and the data were collected by using Likert type scale developed by the researchers. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques and some relevant results were reached. According to the results related to their activities the teachers reflect the views that “Students work together in a small group to solve a problem” on a rate of 25 percent of classroom time approximately, that “By asking questions teachers control whether the subject was understood or not by students” that “Teachers summarize the main points covered in the precious lesson at the beginning of new one” in a rate of almost all lessons. In addition it was found in the present study that there is no significant difference between gender, age, years of experience, field of specification and the performed teaching activities in classrooms.
