Abstract
In this study, the phytoremediation of Pb, Cd and Co polluted soils and effect of EDTA on Pb, Cd and Co accumulation in canola was investigated. The experiment was made under controlled conditions. 3 EDTA doses (0, 5, 10 mmolkg -1) were used as plant materials and application doses.100 mg kg -1Pb, Cd, Co were applied to the each pots. Pots was incubated 30 days for absorbing heavy metals in soil. Doses of EDTA (0, 5, 10 mmol kg -1)were applied to the pots after 30 days seed planting in order to facilitate the plants taking heavy metal from applications. The plants were harvested after 75 days planting and chemical analysis was made on the plant samples. Results show that, treatments with EDTA doses were increased Pb, Cd, and Co uptake by canola, compared with the unamended control, for 5 and 10 mmolkg -1 EDTA doses % 34,59- % 60,03; % 119,38- % 235,82; % 34,47- % 64,80 for root and % 80,12- % 136,33; % 77,28- % 264,88; % 40,81 -% 99,79 for shoot, respectively.
