Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Edirne’de sulama kooperatifleri ile ortaklar arasındaki ilişkileri bilimsel veriler ışığında ortaya koymaktır. Bu temel amacın yanında, bahsi geçen ilişkilerde etkili öğeleri ve etki derecelerini belirlemek, ortak-kooperatif ilişkilerinin geliştirilmesi ve kooperatiflerin daha etkili hizmet sağlayabilmeleri noktasında alınması gereken önlemlerin neler olduğunu ortaya koymak, çalışmanın ikincil amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaçlar etrafında araştırmaya konulması hedeflenen alt amaçlar ise şu şekilde sıralamak mümkündür: Sulama kooperatifinin bulunduğu coğrafyada işlenebilir tarım arazisi miktarı, kooperatif yöneticilerinin sosyo-ekonomik özellikleri, kooperatiflerin faaliyet alanları, ortaklarına sağladığı hizmetler, ortak-kooperatif arası ilişkiler, ortakların kooperatife ürün teslim etme durumları, ortakların sorumluluklarından bilgilendirilme durumları, genel kurullara katılımı, kooperatifin sağladığı hizmetlerden yararlanma durumları, kooperatife ortak olma sebepleri, kooperatif yönetiminden memnuniyet durumları ve ortak-kooperatif ilişkilerini etkileyen faktörler ortaya konulmuştur. Bununla birlikte; ortakların demografik, sosyo- ekonomik durumları, tarımsal üretkenlikleri ve kooperatifler hakkında bilinçleri ile genel kooperatifçilik ilkelerini bilme durumunun ölçülmesi, çalışmanın diğer amaçlarını oluşturmaktadır.
The main purpose of this study is to reveal the relations between irrigation cooperative societies and their members in Edirne in the light of scientific data. In addition to this main objective, the second objective of the study is to determine the effective elements and degree of influence in the mentioned relations, to develop partner-cooperative relations and to determine the measures that should be taken in order to provide more effective service to partners. It is possible to list the sub-objectives that are aimed to be put into research around these objectives as follows: the amount of cultivable agricultural land in the geography where the irrigation cooperative is located; socio-economic characteristics of cooperative managers; fields of activity of cooperatives; the services provided by the cooperatives to their partners; partner-cooperative relations; information about the partners' delivery of products to the cooperative, the responsibilities of the partners, the participation of the partners in general rules, the utilization of the services provided by the cooperative, the reasons for becoming a partner to the cooperative, the satisfaction with the cooperative management and the factors affecting the partner-cooperative relations. Furthermore, the other objectives of the study are to measure the awareness of the partners about demographic, socioeconomic, agricultural productivity and cooperatives, and the knowledge of the basic and general cooperative principles.
