dc.description.abstractBaş boyun bölgesi kanserleri arasında yer alan tonsil kanseri dünyapopülasyonunda farklı yaygınlıkta olmakla birlikte, görülme sıklığı artmaktadır.Hastalığın erken semptomları genellikle asemptomatik olduğundançoğunlukla bölgesel metastaz olduğunda teşhis edilmektedir.Tonsil kanserinin erken evrede tanılanması, tedavi ve bireyin yaşamkalitesinin arttırılması bakımından önemlidir. Altmış iki yaşındaki erkekhasta, son dönem kanser hastasıdır ve ağrı yakınması ile bir eğitimve araştırma hastanesine yatış için başvurmuştur. Olgu 1982 deGordon tarafından geliştirilmiş ‘’Fonksiyonel Sağlık Örüntüleri (FSÖ)’’modeli ile değerlendirilerek, hemşirelik girişimleri planlanmıştır.
dc.description.abstractTonsil cancer, a cancer of the head and neck, is becoming more prevalent although it has different prevalence rates among the world population. The cancer is mostly diagnosed by local metastasis since early stages of the disease are often asymptomatic. The diagnosis of tonsil cancer in the early stage is important for not only effective treatment but also the enhancement of the patient’s life quality. A 62-year-old male patient presented complaints of pain at a training and research hospital and was diagnosed with end-stage tonsil cancer. Gordon's Functional Health Patterns model was used to plan and administer nursing care.
