dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, sürdürülebilirlik, döngüsel ekonomi ve simit ekonominin gelişimine yer verilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, BIST Sürdürülebilik Endeksi'nde yer alan ve Trakya Bölgesi'nde faaliyet gösteren şirketlerin sürdürülebilirlik raporları incelenmiştir. Raporlarda yer alan sosyal ve çevresel performans göstergesi bulgularına iki ayrı başlık altında yer verilmiştir. Sosyal performans göstergelerinde, kadın ve erkek çalışan sayısı, iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimi ve diğer eğitimler yer alırken, çevresel performans göstergelerinde, sera gazı salımı, enerji tüketimi ve su tüketimi bulguları yer almaktadır. Araştırma hedefi, sosyal ve çevresel performans göstergelerinin sürdürülebilirlik ve döngüsel ekonomi prensipleriyle nasıl ilişkilendirilebileceğini anlamaktır.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, sustainability, circular economy, and the development of the doughnut economy are included. In this context, the sustainability reports of companies included in the BIST Sustainability Index and operating in the Thrace Region were examined. Social and environmental performance indicator findings in the reports are included under two separate headings. While the social performance indicators include the number of female and male employees, occupational health and safety training, and other training, the environmental performance indicators include the findings of greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and water consumption. The research goal is to understand how social and environmental performance indicators can be related to the principles of sustainability and circular economy.
