Özet
Araştırma 2015-2016 yıllarında Edirne ili ile bağlı ilçelerinde yürütülmüştür. Bu çalışma, Edirne İli Damızlık Sığır Yetiştiricileri Birliği'nin hayvancılık işletmelerinin gelişmesinde ki rolünü ve yetiştiricilerin örgütten beklentilerini belirlemek, süt sığırcılığının ildeki genel durumunu ortaya koyabilmek, Edirne ilinin süt sığırcılığının profilini çıkarmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada işletmelerin %76.5'inin geçimini sağlamak için hayvancılık yaptığı, %79.4'ünün öz sermaye ile kurulduğu, %39.7'sinde ortalama 11-20 baş sığır bulunduğu, %45.6'sında süt verim ortalamasının 20 lt olduğu ve işletmelerin %93.2'sinin yerleşim yeri içerisinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ahırların %62.3'ünün bağlı duraklı, %90.7'sinde doğal havalandırma sistemi bulunduğu, %80.4'ünde gübre temizliğinin elle yapıldığı, %5.9'unda merkezi sağımhane bulunduğu, %6.4'ünde süt soğutma tankı bulunduğu, %8.3'ünde doğumhane bulunduğu, %56.9'unda gezinti alanı bulunduğu, %12.3'ünde buzağı kulübesi bulunduğu, %32.8'inde doğum için yardımcı araç-gereç bulunduğu da tespit edilmiştir. İşletmelerin %31.4'ünde aile bireyleri dışında çalışan ücretli personel sayısının en az 1 kişi olduğu, çalışma yapılan işletmelerin %79.9'unun da Edirne İli Damızlık Sığır Yetiştiricileri Birliği üyesi olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The research was conducted in the provinces of Edirne and its provinces in the years of 2015-2016. This study was conducted to determine the role of the Edirne Cattle Breeders Association in the development of livestock enterprises and the expectations of breeders' organizations, to reveal the general situation of dairy cattle, and to profile the dairy cattle breeding. As a result of the research, 76.5% of the enterprises were worked in livestock farming to for a living, 79.4% were established with equity, 39.7% had average 11-20 cows, 45.6% had milk yield average of 20 lt and 93.2% in the settlement area was determined. It was found that 62.3% of the stables were connected with stall, 90.7% had natural ventilation system, 80.4% had manual fertilizer cleaning, 5.9% had central milking facilities, 6.4% had milk cooling tanks, 8.3% had a delivery room, 56.9% had a strolling area, 12.3% had a club, and 32.8% had assistive devices for delivery. In 31.4% of the enterprises, the number of salaried employees working outside the family members was at least 1 and 79.9% of the working establishments were found to be members of the Edirne Cattle Breeders Association.
