dc.description.abstract | The development time, reproduction and population growth parameters of Black cherry aphid Myzus cerasi (Fabricius) Hemiptera Aphididae) were studied on Prunus cerasus at five constant temperatures (20+/-1, 22.5+/-1, 25+/-1, 27.5+/-1 and 30 degrees C). Total nymphal development time ranged from 8.70d at 27.5 degrees C to 12.68d at20 degrees C. The intrinsic rate of increase (rm) at 25 degrees C had the highest value (0.2793). RO was highest at 25 degrees C. The best reproductive performans of M cerasi is predicted at 25 degrees C. | |
