Mobilya üretimi sürecinde karşılaşılan başlıca önemli çevresel etkilerin çalışan sağlığı açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Genel amacı; verimliliğin arttırılması, işyeri ortamının, iş ekipmanlarının ve işçinin korunması olan İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği (İSG) uygulamaları, ülkemizde de giderek artan bir güvenlik bilinci ile yaygınlaşmaktadır. Günümüze kadar, işçinin sağlık ve güvenliğinin sağlanmasına yönelik çalışmalar çoğunlukla iş kazası sıklığı yüksek olan sektörler üzerinde veya yapılan işin niteliğine özgü bir etkenden dolayı gelişen, ölüm sıklığının gözlemlendiği meslek hastalıklarına yol açan sektörler üzerinde yoğunlaştırılmıştır. Mobilya sektörü gibi, genelde atölye tipi imalathanelerden oluşan, yakın geçmişte işletmelere dönüşmeye başlayarak sistematik üretime geçen sektörlerle ilgili olarak yapılan çalışmalar sınırlı sayıdadır. Bu çalışma; ahşap malzemeden mobilya üretimi yapan örnek bir tesiste iş faktörlerinden kaynaklanan çevresel etkilerin çalışan sağlığı üzerinde oluşturacağı etkilerin tanımlanması için hazırlanmıştır. Mobilya üretiminin temel üretim süreçlerinde, çalışanın karşı karşıya kaldığı sağlık tehditleri incelenmiştir. Çalışanın sağlığına etki eden faktörlere ait iç ortam ölçümü sonuçları ve kişisel maruziyet değerlerinden yararlanılarak çalışanın etkiden hangi yolla sağlık zararına uğrayabileceği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, çalışanların çalışma ortamındaki etkilerin yanı sıra dış ortam kalitesinden de zarar görebilecekleri gerçeğinden yola çıkarak söz konusu işletmenin atık su karakterizasyonu, baca gazı ve toz emisyonu ile katı atık türü ve miktarının da, çevre ve insan sağlığı üzerinde oluşturabileceği etkilerinden bahsedilmiştir. Sonuç olarak: çalışan, çevre ve kullanıcı açısından daha az zararlı olan üretim yöntemleri tanımlanmıştır.

The general purpose; increasing efficiency, the Occupational Health and Safety (OH & S) applications of workplace environment, work equipment, and the protection of the worker, are becoming widespread in our country too with growing security awareness. Until recently, efforts to ensure the health and safety of workers mostly concentrated on sectors with a high incidence of accidents at work or on sectors that due to factors specific to the evolving nature of the work, occupational diseases leading to death were observed. The number of work done in relation to sectors, such as the furniture industry, usually consisting of workshop-type wineries, that started the systematic production by evolving into businesses in the recent past, has also been low. This study is designed, in an example facility engaged in the production of wood furniture, to identify the environmental impacts caused by business factors on employee health. Health threats faced by the employee in the main production processes of furniture production were examined. By utilizing the results of the measurement of internal environment of the factors that affect the health of the employee and the employee's personal exposure, in which way employee's health can be influenced have been identified. In addition, basing on the fact that the employees can be damaged by influences of the working environment as well as the external environment quality; it is also discussed that characterization of waste water, flue gas and dust emissions of the entity and the type and quantity of solid waste, can have effects on the environment and human health. In conclusion, less harmful production methods for the worker, environment and user have been defined.
