Kurucaova Polyesinin Jeomorfolojisi (Kırıkhan/Hatay)

Abstract

Kurucaova Polyesi, Amanos Dağları'nda (Orta Amanoslar) üzerinde yer almakta olup, flüvyal karakterli bir paleovadinin fay kontrolünde gelişen karstlaşma etkinliği sonucunda oluşmuş polye graben özelliğinde tektono-karstik bir depresyondur. Karstlaşmanın gelişiminde etkili olan karbonatlı kayacın varlığından başka, suyun zeminle uzun süre temasının sağlandığı paleovadi yapısı, polyenin oluşumunu başlatan en önemli etken olmuştur. Polyenin oluşumunda etkili olan diğer etken ise faylanma eşliğinde gelişen karstlaşmadır. Makalede, Kurucaova Polyesi'nde karstlaşma üzerinde rol oynayan etmenler incelenmiş ve jeomorfolojik gelişim ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla öncelikli olarak hem konu, hem de alan bakımından ilgili literatür gözden geçirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular topografya karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu haritalar üzerinden Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri (CBS) yöntem oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmada temel altlık harita olarak 1/25.000 ölçekli ANTAKYA-O36-c4 topografya paftası ile değişik ölçeklerdeki jeoloji haritalarından yararlanılmıştır. Yapılan faaliyetler arazi çalışmaları eşliğinde denetlenerek, metne aktarılmıştır.

In this study, the main base map sheet with 1:25.000 scale topographic ANTAKYA-O36c4 geological maps of different scales are used. In addition, Remote Sensing (RS) satellite imagery in a variety of recent methodology used. Accompanied by field studies in all these activities have been audited and tested for accuracy on-site interviews and observation methods.
