Statistical analysis of circular knitting fabric defects with control charts
Özet
One of the main objectives of all sectors of production nowadays is to increase the production quality. Quality control practices are an activity performed by fabric producers at the end of each production process. In this study, fabric defects were analyzed by using control charts in a textile factory which produces knitted fabric by 10 circular knitting machines in total. First, fabric defect classification was performed, then defects which were out of the control limits were determined for both machine and defect types using the statistical quality control methods (traditional and Laney) u-control chart. Fabric defect causes have been investigated and suggestions have been given to minimize those defects. © 2012 Journal of Textiles and Engineer.Günümüzde üretim yapan tüm sektörlerin temel hedeflerinden biri üretim kalitesini arttirmaktir. Kalite kontrol uygulamalari, özellikle kumaş üreticilerinin her ürün çiktisinda gerçeklestirdiği bir faaliyettir. Bu çalismada da, toplamda 10 adet yuvarlak örme makinesi ile kumaş üretimi yapan bir tekstil isletmesinde, kumaş hatalari kontrol kartlari kullan ilarak analiz edilmiştir. öncelikle kumaş hata siniflandirilmasi gerçekleştirilmis, ardindan istatistiksel kalite kontrol yöntemlerinden (geleneksel ve Laney) u-kontrol karti kullanilarak hem makine hem de hata tipleri açisindan kontrol limitleri disindaki hatalar tespit edilmiştir. Kumas hatasi nedenleri arastir ilarak hatalar in minimize edilmesi için gerekli öneriler verilmiştir. © 2012 Journal of Textiles and Engineer.
