Genç Suriyeli mültecilerin sosyal uyum ve sorunlarına ilişkin bir alan araştırması: İstanbul Arnavutköy örneği

Abstract

Ortadoğu'da halk hareketleri sonucunda yaşanan siyasi ve idari gelişmeler, sivil unsurlar açısından sosyal güvenlik sorunları ve ekonomik riskler doğurmuştur. Can güvenliği noktasında insanların endişeleri ve korkuları ortaya çıkınca psikolojik olarak göç etme kararı almak zorunda kaldılar.Türkiye'ye kara sınırı bulunan Suriye'de bu iç savaş sonucunda yerleşik halk kitlesel gruplar halinde yaşam alanlarına yakın ve güvende olduklarını düşündükleri komşu ülkelere sığınmışlardır. Şüphesiz bu yoğun göç faaliyetlerinden en çok etkilenen ülke Türkiye olmuştur. Bu yoğun göç hareketliliği sonucunda hedef ülkede ve mültecilerin toplumsal hayatında kaçınılmaz olarak birtakım sosyal, siyasal, ekonomik ve kültürel sorunlar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın temel amacı İstanbul ili Arnavutköy ilçesinde ikamet eden genç suriyeli mültecilerin sosyal uyumlarına ışık tutmak, yaşamlarında karşılaştıkları sosyal, ekonomik, kültürel sorunları belirlemek ve bu yoğun mülteci grubunun sahip olduğu demografik özellikler ve güncel durumlarını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Ayrıca alan araştırması sonucunda ulaşılan bilgilerin göç yönetimi ile ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların yapacakları çalışmalara katkı sağlaması bir diğer önemli amaç olduğu belirtilmelidir.

Political and administrative developments as a result of popular movements in the Middle East have created social security problems and economic risks in terms of civilian elements. When the concerns and fears of people emerged at the point of life safety, they had to psychologically decide to emigrate. Native people took refuge to neighboring countries where they thought they were close to their living spaces as a result of the civil war in Syria which has a land border with Turkey. Undoubtedly, Turkey has been the country most affected by these intense immigration activities. As a result of this intense migration mobility, some social, political, economic and cultural problems inevitably arise in the destination country and in the social life of the refugees. In this context, the main purpose of the study is to shed light on the social adaptation of young Syrian refugees residing in the district of Arnavutköy in Istanbul province to identify the social, economic and cultural problems they face in their lives, and to reveal the demographic characteristics and current status of this dense refugee group. In addition, it should be stated that the information obtained as a result of the field research contributes to the studies of institutions and organizations related to migration management is another important goal.
