İstanbul ili Şişli ilçesinde bulunan bazı parkların peyzaj tasarım ilkeleri açısından irdelenmesi

Abstract

Birçok medeniyetin buluşma noktası olan İstanbul‘da, korunmaya çalışılan tarihi mimari kimlik ile yeni sanayileşme sürecine eşlik eden çağdaş mimari kimlik anlayışları söz konusudur. Bu iki farklı anlayış, plansız ve sağlıksız bir gelişme gösteren metropolde yaşayan insanların, rekreasyon ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması açısından önemli bir sorun yaratmaktadır. Özellikle kentin çözümlenmemiş ulaşım ağ yapısı ve nüfusun yoğun olduğu yerleşim bölgelerindeki açık ve yeşil alanların yetersizliği, mevcut parkları daha da önemli bir hale getirmiştir. Parklar, her yaştan insanın ruhsal açıdan rahatlamasına ve rekreasyonel aktivitelerine olanak veren, kent planlamalarında yeşil alanların işlevsel öğelerdir. İstanbul ilindeki plansız yerleşim, bu ildeki yeşil alanların varlığını da etkileyerek, mevcut yeşil alanların yerini konut veya iş merkezlerine bırakmasına neden olmaktadır. Özellikle Şişli ilçesi, trafik ve ticaretin bağlantı noktasında olması nedeniyle, yeşil alanların ve parkların en az bulunduğu ilçelerden birisidir. Bu çalışma, İstanbul ili Şişli İlçesinde bulunan bazı parkların peyzaj tasarım ilkeleri açısından irdelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. irdelemeler, ilçede bulunan 24 mahallenin her birinden seçilen bir örnek park üzerinde yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ayrıca, parkları kullanan halkın görüş ve ihtiyaçlarını belirlemek amacıyla anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; ilçede bulunan mevcut parkların ihtiyacı karşılayabilecek sayıda ve nitelikte olmadığı, özellikle önemli bir kısmının tasarım ilkeleri ile tam olarak bağdaşmayan bir anlayışla tesis edildiği ve kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarını da tam olarak karşılamaktan uzak oldukları ortaya konulmuş, bu parkların iyileştirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

The meeting point of many cultures, ?stanbul the of the historical architecture identification that is being tried to preserve and the modern architectural identification that goes along with the new industrialisation period are the point of a perception. These two different perceptions make crucial diffuculties in meeting the recreation needs of the people who live in this town that depictures an unplanned and unhealthy development. Especially the town‘s unresolved transporation network and the deficiency of the open and green fields in the residential areas that are populated densely bring more prominence into the current parks. Parks are the functional components of the green spaces in urban plannings,that provides people of every age to relax sipiritually and to have recreational activities. The unplanned urbanisation in the city ?stanbul , effecting the existence of the green areas in this city, causes the current green fields leave their places to houses and business centres.The district ?i?li in particular is one of the districts which have the fewest green fields and parks, for being in the port of the traffic and the trade. This work is carried on with the aim of examining some parks in ?i?li the district of the city ?stanbul, from the angle of landscape architecture design principles. These examinations are carried out on a sample park that is chosen from each 24 streets in the district. In this research a survey to detect the opinions and the needs of people is also applied. On the result of the research; it has been determined that the current parks in the district are not adequate enough in either the quantity or the qualify to meet the needs and that especially a great deal of them are constitued with a perception that does not even comply with the design principles completely and they are unlikely to answer the demands of the users ,thus some suggestions are offered in order to restore these parks.
