Yüzme Havuzlarının Su Kullanımındaki Yeri ve Önemi: Tekirdağ Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Tekirdağ il merkezindeki yüzme havuzlarının su kullanımındaki yeri ve harcanan suyun miktarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Tekirdağ il merkezinde bulunan 37 adet tatlı su kullanan açık yüzme havuzu bu araştırma kapsamında değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Araştırmada temsilen seçilen bir örnek yüzme havuzunda; birim alandan buharlaşma ile sistemden diğer kaybolan ve sisteme ilave edilen su miktarları ölçülmüştür. Örnek yüzme havuzunda elde edilen ölçüm sonuçları, diğer yüzme havuzları ile oranlama yapılarak toplam buharlaşma, sistem kayıpları ve sisteme ilave edilen su miktarları belirlenmiştir.Tüm yüzme havuzlarının toplam su yüzey alanı 8.960 m2 ve su hacmi 14.875 m3 olarak ölçülmüştür. Yüzme havuzlarının yıllık toplam su tüketimi 39.944,9 m3 olarak belirlenmiştir. Toplumun yaşam standartlarının yükselmesiyle birlikte yüzme havuzlarına olan talep, sınırlı tatlı su kaynaklarının tüketiminde yeni bir paydaş ortaya çıkarmaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to determine the place and the importance of the swimming pools in water usage, and the amount of the consumptive water in Tekirdağ City Center. 37 fresh-water swimming pools in Tekirdağ City Center were evaluated in the extent of this study. The quantity of water evaporated per unit area, and the amounts of water lost because of other reasons and the fresh water added to the system were measured in a randomly chosen sample swimming pool for the study. Total amounts of evaporation, system loss and the fresh water added to the system were determined by comparing the measurement results obtained in the sample swimming pool to the other swimming pools. Total water surface area of all swimming pools was measured as 8960 m2 , and the water volume was measured as 14875 m3 Total water consumption of the swimming pools was determined as 39944,9 m3 Swimming pools demand increased together with the life standards of the society, and this demand revealed a new shareholder to the consumption of the limited fresh water sources.
