Tekirdağ-Malkara Yöresindeki Büyükbaş Hayvancılık İşletmelerinin Yapısal Yönden İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Tekirdağ ili Malkara ilçesinde yer alan büyükbaş hayvancılık işletmelerinin yapısal özellikler bakımından yeterlilikleri araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 62 adet büyükbaş hayvancılık işletmesinin yapısal durumları çiftçilerle yapılan anketler ve ölçümler yardımıyla belirlenmiş, literatürde önerilen değerlere göre uygunluğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, işletmelerin % 11.29’unun projeli olarak planlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca işletmelerin barınak tipleri incelendiğinde ise, % 40.32’si bağlı duraklı, % 35.48’i serbest ve % 24.19’u serbest duraklı işletme olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sırasında birçok barınağın taban planı ve malzeme düzeni bakımından oldukça yetersiz olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu koşullar gözönüne alındığında, işletmelerin uzman kişiler tarafından teknik esaslara göre projelendirilmesinin teşvik edilmesi gerekmektedir. Ayrıca, çevresel ve ekonomik sürdürebilirlik açısından daha yüksek yoğunluktaki işletme modellerinin tercih edilmesi önerilmektedir.

In this research, structural properties of the cattle animal farms were investigated with regard to their sufficiencies in the Tekirdag- Malkara region. In the scope of this study, structural conditions of 62 animal farms were examined by means of survey and measurement studies and their structural sufficient were compared with suggested values in the literature. In the result of study, It was confirmed that only 11.29 % of animal farms were built as projected. Barn type of the animal farms were also investigated that tie stall, free and free stall barns were 40.32 %, 35.48 % and 24.19 % respectively. It was observed during the study that most of farms were quite unsufficient in terms of layout and material arrangement. Animal farms should be projected by expert persons based on technical principles. Besides, it was suggested that more concentrated animal farms should be preferred with regards to environmental and economic sustainability.
