Tekirdağ Il Ve Ilçelerinde Faaliyet Gösteren Konaklama Işletmelerinin Il Ekonomisine Makroekonomik Etkileri

Abstract

Sanayi Devrimi sonrasında giderek gelişme gösteren turizm sektörü ülkeler, bölgeler ve iller için birer kalkınma aracı haline gelmiştir. Gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan birçok ülke kaynakları doğrultusunda turizm sektörünün gelişim faaliyetlerini destekleyerek geri dönüş almıştır. Turizmin ekonomik gelişime olan etkileri çerçevesinde yapılandırılan bu araştırma projesi, ekonomik kavramlar dışında hizmetsektörünün emek yoğun yapısı gereğince bölgede içerisinde yarattığı etki alanını araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, turizm kavramı ve hizmet sektörünün sektörel özellikleri incelenerek, ekonomik anlamda ne ifade ettiği açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Turizm işletmeleri adı altında faaliyet gösteren konaklama, yiyecek-içecek ve seyahat işletmelerinin diğer sektörlerle olan ilişkisinin bir sonucu olarak meydana gelen ekonomik etkiler bölgesel gelişimi ve kalkınmayı desteklemektedir. Türkiye’de hizmet endüstrisinin faaliyetlerinin planlı olarak gerçekleştirilmeye başlandığı kalkınma planlarının ortaya çıkması ile turizm sektörünün de gelişim süreci başlamıştır. Yatırım ve uygulama politikalarını içeren bu planlar, ülkesel ve bölgesel olarak kalkınmada önemli rol oynamıştır. Beş yıllık kalkınma planlarının uygulanmaya başlaması, konaklama işletmeleri ve bu işletmelerin organizasyon yapılarının da öne çıkmasına etki etmiştir. Bu çalışmada turizm sektörünün makroekonomik etkileri üzerinde durulmuş Tekirdağ il ve ilçelerinde faaliyet gösteren konaklama işletmeleri ve faydacılarına yönelik olumlu ve olumsuz ekonomik etkiler incelenmiştir.

After the Industrial Revolution, tourism sector developing gradually has become a factor of development for countries, regions and cities. Many developedand developing countries supported this advance in tourism by using their resources and received feedback in return. Designed in the frame of the effects of tourism on economic development, this research project aims to examine the scope of tourism with its other factors except economic concepts in the region regarding the labor intensive structure of the service industry. In this context, the concept of tourism and the industry-specific features of the service sector were examined in order to explain what this concept and these features mean in economic aspects. The economic influences occurred due to the relationships between tourism establishments like accommodation, travel, catering firms and other sectors contribute well to regional development and improvement. In Turkey, the development period of tourism sector started with the development plans including planned realization of the service industry operations and organizations. These plans with investment and application policies have played a significant role in territorial and regional development. The application and realization of the five year development plans resulted in an increase in the importance of the accommodation establishments and their organizational structures. In this study, the macroeconomic influences of tourism sector were examined; their positive and negative economic effects on the accommodation establishments and theirbeneficiaries in Tekirdağ weredetectedand finally suggestions and implications were made upon these issues.
