Box-Jenkins Modeli Yardımıyla Dünya Pamuk Fiyatının Tahmini

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, dünya’da pamuk fiyatları bir Box Jenkins metodu olan ARIMA modeli ile incelenmiştir. Ocak 2004 ve Haziran 2012 dönemini kapsayan 102 aylık dünya pamuk fiyatı kullanılarak, ARIMA (1,1,1) (1,0,1) 12 mevsimsel modeli en uygun model olarak tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan öngörü modeline göre 2012[2013 sezonunda dünya pamuk fiyat ortalaması 1.49 dolar ve 2013-2014 sezonunda 1.57 dolar ve 2013-2014 sezonunda ise 1.55 dolar düzeyinde gerçekleşeceği tahmin edilmiştir.

In this study, cotton prices in the world were examined by Box Jenkins method of ARIMA model. By using102 per month which covers the period January 2004 and June 2012 of the world price of cotton, the seasonal model of ARIMA(1,1,1)(1,0,1)12 has been identified as the most appropriate model. According to the forecasting model, during the season of 2012-2013, an avarage of the world cotton priceis $ 1.49, 2013[2014 season is the world cotton price is $ 1.57and the 2013-2014 season is estimated to be $ 1.55.
