| dc.description.abstract | Günümüz teknoloji çağında yazılım performansı kullanıcılar için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Veri tabanı tasarımı yazılım performansını iyileştirmek için yapılacak en etkili yöntemlerden biridir. Genellikle Veri tabanı tasarımında kullanılan normalizasyon işlemi veri sayısı arttıkça performans kaybına neden olur. Bu sorunu ortadan kaldırmak amacı ile denormalizasyon devreye girer. Bu çalışmada, akademik verilerin tutulduğu bir veri tabanında sorgu süresini iyileştirmek amaçlı çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Normalization process, which is generally used in database design, causes performance loss as the number of data increases. In order to eliminate this problem, denormalization comes into play. In this study, studies were carried out to improve the query time in a database where academic data is kept.
