In the present study the effect of different doses of Zn application (0-50-100-200-400 mg Zn kg- 1) under mycorrhiza (+AM) and non-mycorrhiza (¬ AM) conditions on certain growth parameters and zinc accumulation was investigated in two different types of buckwheat. In the study, this was carried out as a pot experiment under greenhouse conditions. In the study, it was also investigated whether mycorrhizal inoculation, which is known to be effective in increasing the resistance of plants against heavy metal toxicity, had an effect on increasing the resistance of buckwheat. For this purpose, Glomus intraradices type mycorrhiza was inoculated plants. In the experiment that was carried out under controlled conditions. Chlorophyll content, plant shoot weight (g), inoculation rate in the plant roots and hypha (%), vesicle and arbuscle numbers were determined in the plants. After harvest, yield, Zn concentrations of plant biomass, Zn concentrations of grain and flower, and translocation factors (TFs) for Zn were determined. Zinc accumulation in biomass and grain significantly increased in dose-dependent manner. But Zn concentration of plants inoculated mycorrhiza (+) were low level from mycorrhiza (-). There was a significant difference between the species also in terms of plant stem Zn content (P<0.05). Stem Zn content showed a statistically significant increase with increasing doses of zinc. The highest average Zn content was observed as 516.49 mg/kg in 400 mg Zn/kg application. A significant difference was observed between zinc doses in grain and flower Zn content (P<0.01). Mycorrhizal inoculation decreased the amount of Zn taken from the soil by the plant stem and the grain. © by PSPen_US
