Pseudo double take off of the right coronary artery: A case of high take off of a major right ventricular branch
Özet
Double right coronary artery (RCA) is a very rare coronary artery anomaly. Double RCA variations are incidentally discovered, because they are asymptomatic. The differentiation of true double RCA and high take off of a large right ventricular branch (RVB) in coronary angiograms is a condition that requires quite remarkable attention. Here, we reported a case with acute inferior myocard infarction in whom high take off of a large RVB originated from proximal RCA, mimicking a double RCA. If this type variation is not well-defined along with coronary artery narrowness, it may lead to mistaken distal anastomose during coronary artery bypass surgery. © 2012 Düzce Medical Journal.

Cranial Magnetic Resonance Imaging as a Screening Tool for Evaluation of Silent Brain Ischemia in Severe Coronary Artery Disease: A Clinical Based Study
Kurtoğlu Özçağlayan, Tuğba İlkem; Özkaramanlı Gür, Demet; Özçağlayan, Ömer; Topçu, Birol; Ünal, A. (Duzce University Medical School, 2020)Aim: Silent brain ischemia (SBI), defined as ischemic changes and infarcts without neurologic signs, is an established marker of poor survival. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is useful to define SBI and white matter ... -
