Evaluation of labor market on regional economic policies on the context of contemporary economic schools

Abstract

İktisadın felsefeden ayrılmasından bu yana pek çok iktisadi düşünce ortaya konulmuştur. Bu düşüncelerden birbirini destekleyenler çağdaş iktisat okullarını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bütün bu okullar emek piyasası üzerinde önemli görüşler belirtmektedir. Bu çalışma emek piyasası bağlamında iktisat okullarının bölgesel iktisat politikalarını değerlendirmek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda ilk olarak detaylı bir yazın taraması gerçekleştirilmiş ve önceki çalışmalar derinlemesine incelenmiştir. Daha sonra araştırmanın teorik altyapısının oluşturulması için bu yayınlardan faydalanılarak kavramsal çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Bir sonraki aşamada emek piyasası bağlamında iktisat okullarının görüşleri bölgesel iktisat politikaları kapsamında tartışılmıştır. Çalışmanın ekonometrik analiz kısmında ise 29 OECD ülkesinin 2006-2016 yılları arasındaki işsizlik, enflasyon, doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar, nüfus, sosyal yardımlar ve milli gelir verileriyle panel veri analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın son bölümünde ise konu ile ilgilenecek olan akademisyen ve politika geliştiricilerin uygulayabilecekleri öneriler sunulmuştur.

Since the diversion of economics from philosophy, many economic ideas have been put forward. Those who support each other in these thoughts revealed contemporary economics schools. All these schools have made important contributions on the labor market. This study was conducted to evaluate the regional economics of economics schools in the context of the labor markets. In this context, first a detailed literature survey was carried out and previous studies were examined in depth. Then, a conceptual framework was created by using these publications in order to establish the theoretical infrastructure of the research. At the next stage, the views of economics schools in the context of the labor market were discussed within the framework of regional economic policies. At the next chapter an econometric analysis carried out with the datas of 29 OECD countries. In this analysis as variables unemployment, inflation, GDP, population, direct foreign investments and social transfers has been used. In the last part of the research, proposals can be applied by academicians and policy developers who will deal with the subject are depicted.
