Cerrahi bilimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin eğitim öncesi ve sonrası istenmeyen perioperatif hipotermi hakkında farkındalıklarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Araştırma bir Üniversitenin Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi cerrahi birimlerinde çalışan hemşirelerin, eğitim öncesi ve sonrası istenmeyen perioperatif hipotermi hakkında farkındalıklarını değerlendirmek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmanın evrenini Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezinde çalışan 260 cerrahi hemşiresi, örneklemini 200 cerrahi hemşiresi oluşturdu. Veriler 01 Şubat-01 Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında literatür doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan ‘‘Kişisel Bilgi Formu’’ ve “İstenmeyen Perioperatif Hipotermi Değerlendirme Formu” aracılığı ile yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile elde edildi. Verilerin normal dağılıma uygunluğunda Kolmogorov Smirnov test ve Box Plot grafikler kullanıldı. Normal dağılım gösteren değişkenlerin değerlendirmelerinde Oneway Anova test ve post-hoc Bonferroni test kullanıldı. Normal dağılım göstermeyen değişkenlerde ise gruplara göre değerlendirmelerde Kolmogorov Smirnov test, post-hoc Dunn test; grup içi değerlendirmelerde ise Friedman test ve bonferroni düzeltmeli Wilcoxon Signed Rank test kullanıldı. İstatistiksel anlamlılık p<0,05 düzeyinde değerlendirildi. Hemşirelerin toplam 41 soru üzerinden hesaplanan istenmeyen perioperatif hipotermi bilgi puan ortalamaları, eğitim öncesi 61,77±13,32, eğitim sonrası 82,76±10,16 ve eğitimden 3 ay sonra 77,56±11,78 olarak saptandı. Eğitim öncesine göre; eğitim sonrası ve eğitimden 3 ay sonra görülen puan ortalamalarındaki artış istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (p<0,05). Araştırma bulguları hemşirelerin istenmeyen perioperatif hipotermi farkındalığının eğitim öncesine göre, eğitimden hemen sonra ve eğitimden 3 ay sonra arttığını gösterdi. Perioperatif hipotermiyle ilgili hizmetiçi eğitimlerin düzenli aralıklarla yapılması, İPH önleme yöntemleriyle ilgili standartların oluşturulması, farklı hastane gruplarıyla çalışmanın genişletilmesi önerilir.

The research was carried out in order to raise awareness of inadvertend perioperative hypothermia in the nurses working in Tekirdag Namik Kemal University Health Research and Application Center. The population of the study consisted of 260 surgical nurses working in the Health Application and Research Center and sample population of 200 surgical nurses. The data were obtained by face-to-face interview method by ‘‘Inadvertent Perioperative Hypothermia Evaluation Form ”prepared by the researchers between 1 February and 1 May 2019. Kolmogorov Smirneov test and Box Plot graphics were used for data distribution. Oneway Anova test and post-hoc Bonferroni test were used in the evaluation of the variables that normally distributed. Kolmogorov Smirnov test, post-hoc Dunn test; Friedman test and Wilcoxon signed Rank test with bonferroni correction were used in the in-group evaluations. Statistical significance was evaluated as p<0,05.Mean score of inadvertend perioperative hypothermia calculated on a total of 41 questions of nurses, 61,77 ± 13,32 before training, 82,76 ± 10,16 after training and 77,56 ± 11,78 after 3 months of training. According to preeducation; 3 months after training and after training increase in mean scores was statistically significant (p <0,05). Research findings revealed that nurses' inadvertent perioperative hypothermia awareness increased immediately after training and 3 months after the training. It is recommended to perform in-service trainings on perioperative hypothermia at regular intervals, to establish standards on IPH prevention methods and to expand working with different hospital groups.
