Sağlık personelinin sağlık turizmi farkındalığı üzerine bir araştırma: Tekirdağ ili örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sağlık personelinin sağlık turizmi faaliyetlerindeki farkındalıklarını ölçmek, bu faaliyetlerdeki etkinliklerini ortaya koymak ve sağlık turizminin ülke imajı açısından ne kadar önemli olduğunu vurgulamaktır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda sağlık çalışanlarının sağlık turizmine yönelik farkındalıklarına ilişkin algılarının ölçüldüğü "Sağlık Turizmi Algı Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Sağlık turizmi algı ölçeği ile sağlık çalışanlarının; sağlık turizminin etkilerine yönelik algıları, sağlık turizminin sorunlarına yönelik algıları, sağlık kurumlarının kurumsal yeterliliklerine yönelik algıları ve Tekirdağ ilinin sağlık turizmi potansiyeline yönelik algılarının ölçülmesi hedeflenmektedir. Araştırma sonuçları doğrultusunda kişilerin ölçeğe yönelik algılarının cinsiyete göre değişiklik göstermediği ve gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı anlamına gelmektedir. Kişilerin sağlık turizminin etkilerine yönelik algılarının yaşa göre ortalama farklılıkları incelendiğinde; 18-25 yaşındaki kişilerin sağlık turizminin etkilerine yönelik algıları, 36-45 ve 46 yaşın üzerindeki kişilerden daha yüksektir.Kişilerin sağlık turizminin etkilerine yönelik algılarının eğitim düzeyine göre ortalama farklılıkları incelendiğinde; ortaokul mezunu olan kişilerin sağlık turizminin etkilerine yönelik algıları, lise, yüksekokul, yüksek lisans ve doktora mezunu olan kişilerden daha düşüktür.

The purpose of this research is to measure the awareness of health personnel in health tourism activities, to reveal their activities in these activities and to emphasize how important health tourism is in terms of country image.In line with the purpose of the research, the "Health Tourism Perception Scale" was used to measure the perceptions of health professionals about their awareness of health tourism. With the health tourism perception scale, health workers; It is aimed to measure the perceptions of the effects of health tourism, the perceptions of the problems of health tourism, the perceptions of the institutional competencies of health institutions and the perceptions of the health tourism potential of Tekirdağ province.In line with the results of the research, it means that the perceptions of the individuals towards the scale do not differ according to gender and there is no significant difference between the groups. When the average differences of people's perceptions of the effects of health tourism according to age are examined; People aged 18-25 have higher perceptions of the effects of health tourism than people aged 36-45 and over 46. When the average differences of people's perceptions of the effects of health tourism according to education level are examined; Perceptions of secondary school graduates about the effects of health tourism are lower than those with high school, college, master's and doctorate degrees.
