Une etude du point de vue du roman d'anticipation sociale postmoderne: La carte et Le Territoire de Michel Houellebecq

Abstract

Michel Houellebecq günümüzde dünya çapında en çok okunan çağdaş Fransız yazarlardan biridir. Houellebecq'in, tüm dünyaya Batı toplumunun çöküşünü ve postmodern toplumdaki kimlik kaybını betimlediği açıktır. Houellebecq, yapıtlarında genellikle nesnelerle köleleşen insanın durumunu, insanı ve dünyayı beklenmedik bir çöküşe doğru dönüştüren sanayi devriminin, kapitalizmin ve teknolojinin sonuçlarını açıkça eleştirmektedir. Harita ve Topraklar batı toplumunun çöküşünü ortaya koymaktadır, zira kapitalizmin, tüketim toplumunun ortaya çıkışı ve günümüz insan ilişkilerinin bozulması, kuşkusuz insan hayatını derinden etkilemektedir. Bununla birlikte, sosyo-ekonomik krizler, iki dünya savaşının yarattığı felaketler ve 20.yüzyıl'ın büyük teknolojik ve bilimsel değişiklikleri gelecekte insanın mutluluğuna son vermektedir. Bu nedenle postmodernizm, insanı mutluluğundan ve geleceğe dair umudundan uzaklaştıran tüm durumları eleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Michel Houellebecq'in Harita ve Topraklar adlı romanı tüketim toplumu ve bireyci toplumun çıkışına neden olan 1950-1975 yılları arasında yaşanan değişimler ve kargaşalarla ilgilenmektedir. Bu çalışma Michel Houellebecq'in Harita ve Topraklar adlı romanını, önümüzdeki 30 yıl içinde insanın çöküşünü anlatan postmodern toplumsal önceleme romanı olarak incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Michel Houellebecq is currently one of the most widely read contemporary French authors worldwide. It is clear that Houellebecq describes the decline of Western society and the loss of identity of postmodern society to the world. Michel Houellebecq's social postmodernist novel La Carte et Le Territoire focuses on the changes and upheavals of the 1950s and 1975s, which led to the emergence of a consumer society and a society of individualists. Houellebecq clearly criticizes the situation of man enslaved by the objects that perpetually surround him, and which are the consequences of the industrial revolution, capitalism and technology that transform man and the world towards an unexpected decadence. The novel shows the decline of Western society, as the emergence of capitalism, the consumer society and the deterioration of current human relations have undoubtedly deeply affected human life. However, the socio-economic crises, the disasters created by the two world wars and the great technological and scientific changes of the twentieth century put an end to the happiness of man in the future. Therefore, postmodernism aims to criticize all situations that have dehumanized man from his happiness and his hope for the future. This work aims to study Michel Houellebecq's La Carte et Le Territoire as a novel of postmodern social anticipation that relates the decadence of man in the next 30 years.
