Sürdürülebilir kalkınma çerçevesinde işletmelerde çevreye duyarlı yeşil yönetim anlayışı ve yeşil ekonomiye geçiş süreci

Abstract

Önceden de hissedilen ama özellikle son yıllarda daha da fazla artış gösteren çevre sorunları hem bireyleri hem de işletmeleri doğaya karşı önlemler alma zorunluluğuna itmiştir. Sahip olunan doğal kaynakların bilinçsiz ve özensiz bir şekilde tüketilmesi sonucunda kimyasalların meydana gelmesi, üretim sürecinde oluşan atık madde miktarının da artış göstermesiyle birlikte çevre zarar görmeye başlamıştır. Ortaya çıkan bu sorunlar istenmeyen sonuçlar doğurmakta ve rahatsızlık verici görüntülere sebep olmaktadır. Bunun önüne geçilebilmesi ise kişilerin çevreye karşı sorumluluk sahibi olarak duyarlı davranmalarıyla mümkündür. Bunun yanı sıra aslında en büyük görev üretimlerimizi gerçekleştiren işletmelere ve onların çalışanlarına düşmektedir. Bugüne kadar çevrenin korunması ve kirliliğin azaltılması konusunda işletmelerin yaptıkları çalışmaların maliyetleri arttıracağına inanılmaktaydı. Ancak günümüzde yeşil yönetim anlayışıyla hareket eden birçok işletmenin çevreye yönelik olarak yaptığı yatırımların karşılığını aldığı görülmektedir. İşletmelerin bu konuda daha duyarlı davranması onlardan hizmet gören müşterilerinin de aynı şekilde tükettikleri ürünlere ve çevreye karşı bilinçlenmesi demektir. İşletmelerde uygulanan yeşil kavramı çerçevesinde ortaya çıkan sürdürülebilirlik anlayışı sayesinde bu durum daha da istenilen bir hal almaya başlamıştır. Çünkü sürdürülebilir bir anlayışla yol alan işletmelerin aynı zamanda iyi bir ekonomiye sahip olma yolunda ilerlemeleri görülen bir gerçektir. Bu çalışma kapsamında sürdürülebilir kalkınma bağlamında işletmelerde çevreye duyarlı yeşil yönetim anlayışı ve yeşil ekonomiye geçiş süreçleri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.

Environmental problems, which have been felt before but have increased especially in recent years, have forced both individuals and businesses to take precautions against nature. As a result of unconscious and careless consumption of natural resources, the environment has begun to suffer, with the occurrence of chemicals and the increase in the amount of waste material generated in the production process. These problems cause undesirable results and cause disturbing images. It is possible to prevent this by acting sensitively and responsibly towards the environment. In addition, the biggest task falls to the companies that carry out our production and their employees. Until today, it was believed that the efforts of enterprises to protect the environment and reduce pollution would increase the costs. However, today, it is seen that many businesses that act with the understanding of green management receive the return of their investments for the environment. The fact that businesses act more sensitively in this regard means that their customers, who receive service from them, are also conscious of the products they consume and the environment. Thanks to the understanding of sustainability that emerged within the framework of the concept of green applied in businesses, this situation has become even more desirable. Because it is a fact that businesses that take a sustainable approach are also making progress towards having a good economy. Within the scope of this study, it has been tried to examine the environment-friendly green management approach and the transition processes to green economy in enterprises in the context of sustainable development.
