Deveci, MuratDoğrucan, E.2022-05-112022-05-1120111311-5065https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11776/9505In this research, factors were 2 (Jade Fl and Tutku Fl) cultivars, 2 growing conditions (open field and unheated glassshouse) and 4 planting times (October 20, October 27, November 3 and November 10). In order to determine the cold resistance, 2 different cultivars were planted after traditional broccoli growing season in open field conditions and in greenhouse conditions. Seedling length, seedling diameter, plant length, number of leaves, leaf area, central head length, central head weight, side head diameter, number of side heads, side head weight, total head weight per plant and viability criteria were measured in order to determine the morphological changes in these broccoli cultivars. Among the cultivars that were used in this research, Tutku cv. (65.90%) were hardier that the Jade cv. (58.80%) and it can be suggested that Tutku cv. can be grown in greenhouse (99.51%) conditions economically. However, it was found that late growing of Tutku cv. in the field (25.18%) is not suitable. In field (7.20 g) conditions late growing is not suggested due to lack of side heads and due the plant deaths. However, late growing of broccoli can be done without problem under unheated greenhouse (71.42 g) conditions. When two cultivars were compared, it was found that Tutku cv. (43.04 g) has higher yield than Jade cv.
