Influence of Field Farming of Vegetable Crops Depending on Traditional Branches of Production on the Income of the Producers in Developing Countries: Turkey Trakya Region Example

Because of this, the production is made to feed the family members rather than trading the product in several regions of Turkey. But, when observed in details, vegetable production is an intensive agricultural activitiy which is not preferred because of the need for enough technical knowledge and the need of a hard work. In the Thrace region, cereal (wheat) and plants with oil seed (sunflower) production is done in 95.8% of the agricultural areas. The areas with vegetable production are 1.7% of all the agricultural areas occupying a small percentage.
