Bothrospermae) is described as new to science from Hâkkari province (SE Anatolia, Turkey). This new species shows affinities to both Verbascum afyonense from inner Anatolia and Verbascum spectabile var. isandrum from N Anatolia. Its connections to and diagnostic differences from these species are discussed.
