According to this hypothesis, this study aimed to evaluate the neighborhood parks with regard to landscape design and using criteria. For this purpose it is examined physical, original features and activities of neighborhood parks chosen case of Istanbul city, Sisli county; investigated for suitability evaluation landscape design and using criteria and identified deficiencies. As a result of this research is determined that an available significant portion of park areas do not provide users' needs with regard to location, in terms of quality and quantity, and established a concept contrary to the principles of design.
