This study has been conducted in Thrace Region by face to face survey with 770 individuals who have an effective say in the decision of food consumption within the family. The factors affecting the consumers in being knowledgeable about food safety were analyzed with Logit model. Based on analyses results, the variables of gender, town-city and education were determined as statistically significant and coherent with the expectations of coefficients of slope.
