These buildings have important effects on human health. Healthy buildings can be created with building designs made by making the best use of building biology, which is the branch of science that studies the relationship between building – man and environment. Buildings should not only meet many daily life needs of people such as shelter, protection, production, social activity and work but also they must meet their psychological, biological and sociological needs. Designs made by considering the concepts of building biology have a positive effect on human health and also contributes to the natural environment. In this study, the places of climatic, visual and acoustic comfort concepts of building biology in national and international regulations were investigated. The requirements for a healthy building design are compared between different countries and suggestions were made on what more could be done for Turkey. © 2023 Peter Lang GmbH, Internationaler Verlag der Wissenschaften.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessBuilding BiologyHealthy BuildingRegulationsSustainable EnvironmentA Study of Healthy Building Design in Terms of RegulationsBook Chapter3733842-s2.0-85153662095
