This method aims to increase efficient activities and minimize inefficient activities. The types of activities performed in the washing department are classified as efficient, auxiliary and inefficient. Using the Excel program, a structure was created to ensure random assignment of observations, and as a result of the observations, the rate of efficient activities was determined both on an individual and department basis. Statistical controls of the obtained values were made, and the reasons for efficient and inefficient activities were revealed. In addition, the lower and upper control limits of efficient activities in the washing department on an hourly basis were examined. © (2024), (Chamber of Textile Engineers).
