In this study, the effects of in pediatric surgery congresses on the transfer of rights of both our country and The Association of Turkish Pediatric Surgery were evaluated. Materials and Methods: The events encountered in international congresses since the 1980s, and the attitude of Turkish pediatric surgeons in response to them were examined. Results: Turkish pediatric surgeons participated in all meetings around the world, making the right presentation of our country in the face of historical prejudices and ensuring that important meetings were held in Turkey with the relations and scientific activities they established. Conclusion: Today, Turkish Association of Pediatric Surgery is accepted in scientific platforms all over the world. An important reason for this is the scientific studies we produce.
